I had only been to Walt Disney World once and that was a day-trip with my family. This was a completely different experience as we stayed at one of the hotels in the Walt Disney World Resort and visited all 4 parks – Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. Most of our time was spent in Magic Kingdom as this is more geared to our kids. The kids were happy to get a glimpse of Epcot and Hollywood Studios, but nothing there really held their interest so we only spent about 1/2 a day at each.
Emma loved Animal Kingdom, as our in-house animal lover. She loved seeing the animal hospital and spending time at the petting zoo area. It was hard to pull her away.
But, needless to say most of our time was spent at Magic Kingdom, which we all loved!
I was surprised but the kids were really interested in meeting all the characters. They have never really been ones to like people dressed up in costumes (I don’t generally either) but they waited in line after line to get autographs and get their pictures taken with whoever they could. I think the only ones they passed up were Cinderella’s step-mother and her step-sisters.
