We found out this week that the Tooth Fairy doesn’t like ‘Musical Beds.’ What?! Well, our kids all go to sleep in their own beds. In the morning we have no idea which beds they will be in. Emma is a good sleeper so this isn’t a problem for her. However, Caleb will crawl into bed with either Hannah or Cami if he wakes up in the night. That is, if he doesn’t wake them up to get in his bed. If Cami wakes up, she crawls into bed with us. When Chris is out of town, I can always count on waking up to find at least one child in bed with me.
Hannah lost her second tooth this week. She very carefully laid the ‘tooth fairy pillow’ out next to her on the bed. BUT, during the night she crawled into Caleb’s bed. I’m SURE the tooth fairy must have come but couldn’t find the pillow anywhere around where Hannah was sleeping. So we had a second try last night and thank goodness the tooth fairy came (and remembered!). Hannah decided it was best to stay in her bed all night and was rewarded with 4 shiny quarters in her ‘tooth fairy pillow’ (although she woke up in the middle of the night, discovered the money, and woke me up to tell me!).
