Now that everyone else is finishing up their summer vacation, we are beginning ours! We did year-round homeschooling this year and somehow we got off track, thus only earning us 2 weeks of vacation, rather than 4. We are ready to begin a normal school schedule and see how that works for us this school year.
I’ve been trying to think of some fun things for the kids and I to do so we can feel like we’re having a ‘summer break.’ We started out slow on Monday with the library and the park down the street, but oh what fun we had:
watching the geese:
hiding out on top of the slide:
and playing ‘Pooh-sticks’ in the stream:
