Our 6 weeks of the British summer have flown by! We’ve spent this last week gearing up for school with some reorganization and purging. However, we did take some time for fun.
Every summer London hosts Kids Week in the West End. Basically, kids go free to West End shows when the parents pay adult price. We couldn’t pass that up, so over the last three weeks, we’ve been able to attend a few events and become more theatre savvy.
While Caleb and I were in Bulgaria, Chris took the girls to see STOMP. Chris said it was one of his favorites and the girls echoed that. Perhaps Caleb and I will have to check it out some time.

Before Emma headed off to Girl’s Camp, we took our one evening at home together and went to see Wicked. I think I’ve seen it at least 3 times now (although, this was the first time in London) and it is still my ultimate favorite! The older kids loved it as well (Cami was at home with the sitter).

Munching on Pretzels Before Wicked
Last night we capped off our Kids Week events with seeing The Wizard of Oz. Our seats were way up in the upper circle, but we could still see everything really well. Cami loved it and there were really great parts about it, but definitely not one of my favorites. Still, a great night out with the family enjoying the theatre!

I love having the West End close by . . . and you can’t top having free kids’ tickets every summer! Definitely a summer tradition worth having!
