When we moved to London, my first visiting teaching companion was Sis. Barker. When we met up the first time (and I, of course, had my kids along), we discovered Sis. Barker was also Cami’s Sunbeam teacher at church. With these connections, we just fell in love with Sis. Barker and the kindnesses that she shows.
One day Sis. Barker showed up at church with a gift for Cami – a beautiful pink cardigan. She said she makes one for all the kids in her Primary class. What a treasure! Cami loves it and actually wore it for our family pictures last year!

Sadly, Sis. Barker and I are no longer visiting teaching companions but we still stay in touch and keep up with how each other is doing. Not too long ago, Sis. Barker called saying she had knit Cami a new summer cardigan and wanted to bring it by. It is beautiful! I knew that we needed to get a picture of Sis. Barker with Cami so we could treasure the wonderful gifts she has given us.

Then not even 2 weeks later, we received a package in the post from Sis. Barker . . a cardigan for Hannah. Hannah was so excited to wear it to church Sunday. It is perfect – perfect color and fit!

Someday I hope I have a talent that I can share as freely as Sis. Barker!!
