Pumpkin Carving

Tonight for family home evening we carved pumpkins as a family. We have done this in years past, but the kids seemed to especially enjoy it this year. Emma, Caleb, and Hannah cleaned their own pumpkins by hand and experienced the slippery inside of a pumpkin.

We offered to keep and bake the seeds to eat them later, but the kids didn’t seem to find that apetizing after pulling them out of the pumpkins. Regardless, they had a great time and couldn’t wait to light the candles.
