Instead of going to an all-inclusive place for our Nevin Reunion, we decided to rent a house by a lake and plan all the fun ourselves. In hindsight, this was perfect as the weather forecast was rain, rain, and more rain!
Family Reunion Forecast
We found a house that would fit all of us in La Follett, Tennessee (driving distance for some and flying distance for others).

It was situated on Norris Lake, a quiet lake just right for our bunch.

Even going further out into the lake, it was pretty quiet. We enjoyed the boat Uncle Will rented.

Grandpa rented a tube and some skis. The tube was a big hit. Sadly, the only one that could get up on the skis was Chris. His teenage lake days really paid off! Of course, he was pretty sore the next day!

We decided to rent a jet ski for a couple days as well and that was a blast for all the kids (and adults).

Of course, if there is water around, Uncle Will is sure to have his tackle gear. The kids are always keen to try to catch some fish but they didn’t get much.

Final Round
Aunt Eliza even organized a lip-synch battle. We loved those that Uncle Will and Aunt Danielle put together. They were intense! Knowing our family, this was really out of character and it was fun to let loose a little. Afterward, it all led into a dance party for some of the younger crowd.
