We made it out for the first time without Chris. Emma tested her independence and enjoyed buying her own day pass for the tube for a pound.

I was able to manage the tube and get ourselves to the Natural History Museum. What a treat that a number of the museums in London are free!

Caleb was so excited to see the dinosaurs.

We were only able to see half of the museum and some of those things were only seen while walking quickly by them. Cami wasn’t the happiest and continued to whine that she was hungry and tired. So, only after a couple hours, we had to leave, but here were a few of the highlights:

The Mammal Room

The Dodo Bird

The Earth Model you could go INTOWe made it back to the tube station with no problems and then discovered the line we needed to take was closed. I had a short moment of panic, took a deep breath, and was able to figure out a different route on a different line to get us where we needed to be. We were successful and made it home before the big snow.
So, Expedition #1 on our own was counted as a success.
