Milan, Italy

I just got back from Milan, Italy on a business trip and had a wonderful time. In fact, the only thing that would have made the whole experience better is if Becca could have been there with me, but still, it was fabulous to see the architecture within the city.

I visited the Piazza del Duomo, or the square in front of El Duomo – a famous Catholic gothic cathedral. The cathedral is currently under construction – and has been for many years.

I also visited S.ta Maria delle Grazie, the cathedral where Leonardo da Vinci painted the Last Supper. It would have been nice to see the artwork, but tickets are sold out until the end of November. Maybe next time.

My whole experience in Italy was fascinating. The food was wonderful – including the raw meat and seafood. I enjoyed the people, who walk everywhere and are so animated when the talk. I even learned some of the language, as it is so close to Spanish.
