As we were driving around last night to go ice skating, we noticed little snow flakes starting to come down. Pretty soon it started sticking and it was fun to watch everyone’s fascination with it. People were out taking pictures of the snow on top of cars, on top of bikes, of words they had written in it, etc. Fresh snow is always pretty, I agree, but I dread the slush and icy stage that follows.
The kids were anxious to touch it and play in it. Even though Chris left us the car to drive to church today, the kids insisted we needed to take the tube so they could enjoy the walk in the snow.

Waiting for the Bus Before Church
Of course, I’m sure Caleb wanting to use his brand-new tube pass (because he is no longer free on the tube at age 11) had nothing to do with it!

After church I let the kids go out in our back garden to make a snowman. They had a blast, but I got cold just watching them from the window!

Cami decided to make her own snowman and was quite proud of it.

We’ll see how long the snow sticks around. I’m ready for spring!
Whooooa. With as much as Caleb looks like Will, that picture of him and (I’m guessing) Hannah gave me some severe deja vu of a picture of Will and me standing like that in old hand-me-down coats.
We haven’t had any snow!!!!!! Looks like the kids had fun.
I’m sure having a tube pass makes Caleb feel all grown up! Don’t you remember how grown up you felt when you got a military ID……although it got old fast 🙂
