Like A Sponge

During dinner this evening the conversation drifted into silence for a brief moment (this is actually very rare), when it was interrupted as Caleb broke into song: “Hate me today. Hate me tomorrow. Hate me for all the things I didn’t do for you. . .” Recognizing the lyrics to a recent popular song, I turned to Becca and jokingly asked “What have you been listening to?” (This was almost more of a surprise than hearing Caleb sing the lyrics because our car music usually consists of a nursery rhyme tape) As she shrugged Caleb said, “WPLJ – you can also find it on the web at wplj.com.” Wow!

Caleb must be more hip than me, because I sure don’t recognize that song. Too funny!
