So, my track record is a little bit better for this one as I was just ‘tagged’ this week by Maile.
What I was doing 10 years ago…
I was 20 and a sophomore at BYU. This was actually a very hard time for me at that time, I remember. But, it was shortly followed by meeting Chris and having our ‘whirlwind’ engagement and life has only gotten better and better from then on.
5 Things That Were on My To-Do List Today
1. Go to the library – decided against this as the roads still looked a little ‘if-fy’ and I didn’t feel like dragging the kids out in the weather.
2. Work on taxes (a slow process as I go through organizing it)
3. Watch Henry (which is always fun for us – it always makes Cami so happy!)
4. Have Emma prepare something about another country for Girl Scouts tonight (which ended up being canceled)
5. Finish up Valentine’s Day things for the kids – WAY behind on this!
3 Bad Habits I Have
1. I stay up ENTIRELY TOO LATE!!!
2. I have a number of projects I’ve started on or gotten supplies for but have gotten burned out on them . . . so there they sit.
3. I have a hard time ‘reducing and simplifying’ for Primary – I feel I need to do it all the way or it’s not worth it. I’m slowly coming around!
Places I Have Lived
Pennsylvania – in the Poconos, where I was born
California – twice (once as a child and again as an adult)
Maine
Alabama (for a summer when my dad was doing some schooling there)
Ohio
New York – twice (once as a child and again as an adult)
Indiana
Oklahoma
Utah (while at BYU)
Nevada
New Jersey
Things Most People Don’t Know About Me
I’m scared of water – just murky water – so the thought of swimming in the ocean or a lake or something other than a pool is terrifying to me. Although I’m not too keen on swimming in deep water either even in the swimming pool – one would wonder why I was ever on the swim team! I have no clue, but obviously it did nothing for getting over this fear.
Loved your tags. It is always fun to learn new things about people. You have lived in so many places. I thought we had but you put us to shame! I sort of changed too, I was a total night owl but now I am lucky to stay up past 10.
