I’m realizing how much I’ve let slip by without posting anything. So here is a hodge podge of what we’ve been up to this last week –
This is Cami’s tongue a week after she sliced through it with her teeth. It’s pretty visable still so we’ll see if she ends up with a scar on her tongue – I’ve never heard of that happening before but I’m sure someone out there has a scar on their tongue.

The weather has been really nice lately so one hot afternoon I took the kids out to run in the sprinkler. Everyone but Cami was excited to run through the water and get wet. Cami was just okay to sit with me and watch the kids going crazy.

Monday was our substitute Memorial Day holiday since Chris was gone for that day off. We had plans to go to the Jersey shore and go strawberry picking but we had thunderstorms that day. Instead we opted to clean out our attic. I feel so good to have that project done. We took a big load to the Salvation Army and got things organized. Chris went for that project more eagerly than he normally would have because with our new upgraded electrical system, we could put an air conditioning unit up there. Then we could move Emma up there for her own room!! She has been bugging us about it since we moved here and she is more than willing to share the space with our storage. It’s nice to have more space in the kids’ room on the 2nd story. Now we can see who really kept that room messy as the mess in there keeps growing and Emma has done a good job keeping her room in the attic clean.

Sounds like fun to have an “attic” room! How exciting for Emma.
