Tuesday we celebrated Cami’s 2nd birthday. I cannot believe it was 2 years ago already that she was born. Time is flying faster than ever!
There were a lot of things that ‘flopped’ with her birthday plans, like not getting to shop for her gifts until the day before her birthday when she was with us AND that the cute ‘cupcakes in a cone’ that we had planned to make just didn’t turn out (and I usually consider myself a pretty good baker!).

But, Cami enjoyed her birthday nonetheless, and enjoyed all the attention she received. Somehow she just knew what to do with opening gifts and blowing out candles this year. She was prepared!

I thought it was funny to watch her “eat” her cupcake. She used her talented tongue and licked the frosting clean, not taking one bite of the cupcake.

I am so grateful for Cami. I’m so happy to have a child who loves to cuddle and is still in an obedient stage, although I’m sad to say that naps are becoming a thing of the past. Why is 2 the magic number for this?!
