This afternoon we decided to take a stroll in the park just across the way from our house.

The highlights of our walk today:

. . . Ducks paddling down the stream . . .

. . . A beautiful bridge – doesn’t it look perfect for a period film? I did read that several scenes from “Vanity Fair” were filmed in this park . . .

. . . 3-way sword fighting . . .

. . . Swans and more ducks . . .

. . . Random pockets of flowers . . .

. . . Beautiful flowers . . .

. . . Writing our names in the gravel . . .

. . . More wondrous fowl . . .
It was a great walk. We only briefly walked through less than half and will have to go back to explore the rest of the grounds, all the fun statues, and the amazing “neo-Palladian, neoclassical villa” you can take a tour through. You never know what you will find in your own backyard, if you don’t go explore it.
