Just like any other boy, Caleb is ‘into’ superheroes. Rated number one on his list of favorites has to be ‘Superman’. Why? Because HIS dad IS Superman!
We do have to thank Uncle Joseph for suggesting to Caleb that this is Chris’s true occupation. I mean, how do we know Chris isn’t flying around saving people while he’s ‘working’ in New York City every day?! Caleb truly believes this and frequently asks Chris where he keeps his Superman clothes and cape. Chris used to play along and tell him certain things were secret and he couldn’t tell him. Then one day out of pure exasperation he told Caleb he wasn’t Superman. Caleb was devastated – this is when we knew he wasn’t just playing a game with us. But then he seemed to bounce back – he had been doing his family history work! Grandpa Stephenson’s name is ‘Bruce’ – not only that but his middle initial is “W.” – could this be for ‘Wayne’? Ahh, Grandpa’s secret identity is none other than BATMAN!!
Going through a 6 year old boy’s method of deduction, this can only mean one thing – he is going to grow up to be FLASH!!
