We made it home just in time for Easter!! Thank goodness the Easter Bunny planned ahead!

Early Morning for Caleb
We thought we could do the Easter hunts after church since we got home so late the night before, but the girls were all determined that we had plenty of time, and even calculated what time the hunt was scheduled for.

Egg Hunting
The hunt was successful . . . and they even found the eggs with their names on them to start their personal scavenger hunts.

The Loot
Having personal scavenger hunt was a tradition we inherited from Chris’s family. It’s kind of along the lines of having Santa wrap each individual stocking item – it helps the excitement last that much longer!

For some reason, as the kids have gotten older, their patience has decreased. They are anxious to do their own hunts while the others are doing theirs, and not watching or running along with the one who is doing their hunt at the time. I guess we’re starting to experience some growing pains.
It was great to be home as an entire family for Easter. It’s always a great time to reflect on the Savior’s Atonement and what that means for us. Because of Him, I am able to be with my family for eternity!
