Every Sunday at church Hannah asks Sis. G (as my kids affectionately call her) if she can have nails like hers (she wears the press-on type nails). So, today was the day Sis. G came over to ‘play’ with the girls and bring a craft for Caleb to work on as well. Hannah was beside herself with anticipation. When she got dressed this morning she HAD to wear a skirt so she would look pretty for her new nails. When Sis. G and her boys got here they were armed with bags. I was nervous she had gone all out for a ‘nail painting party’ but thankfully it was just craft items she had laying around the house . . . with a few nail items.

Sis. G trimmed some press-on nails for Hannah and even started painting them when Hannah decided they just weren’t as neat as she had thought. Emma, watching the whole process, decided they were scary and wouldn’t have anything to do with them. So, they both settled for getting their nails painted. Emma’s are orange and Hannah’s pink with one pinkie she wanted to try with a dark blue. No one can accuse her of not being creative!

Then Sis. G pulled make-up out of her bag for the girls to play with! Oh my! Hannah was in heaven! You can see her creation as well as her attempt to do Sis. G’s make-up. Emma liked the more subtle look.

And as always, when anyone leaves during pictures, you have to do a serious one and a silly one . . .

Wow, looks like you all had some fun! Hailey has been bugging me to paint her toenails. I keep putting her off. One of these days!
