Dad’s Day Off

Chris took yesterday, Good Friday, off of work. We were so excited to have him home for a day with nothing on the schedule to do so we wanted to make the most of it and do something fun. Chris and I made a list of options, ranging from miniature golfing or bowling to various museums or even a steam engine train ride with the Easter Bunny. The kids all voted twice to narrow it down and then voted on those choices. And what did they choose by a unanimous vote? . . . . . the movies!!!!! Chris and I were surprised but they all wanted to go on a daddy date to the movies and see “Horton Hears a Who!”

Everyone had a great time at the movie, Cami took a nap at home, while I spent time by myself cleaning (pure heaven!).

Chris even took Caleb outside to throw around the good ol’ baseball. I loved watching them. Caleb was enjoying this one-on-one time and Chris was too. There’s just something about a dad and his son bonding.
