Sometimes I really miss crafting. If I had more time on my hands I’d probably do a lot more, but for now, whatever I craft is usually some sort of handout for Young Womens or for the kids’ schooling. However, I took the time last week during a break of school to craft two sewing projects! It felt wonderful!
Our neighbor had just had a baby boy, Casper. I made him a quick and easy baby blanket with this super soft flannel I had.

As we had another birthday to celebrate coming up, I kept my sewing machine out and crafted a gift for our math tutor, Roby.

It seems I have been saving old jeans forever. When I have a free moment, I’ll cut some up into quilting squares of different sizes. However, my mound of jeans continues to stay constant or increase. I found this apron idea online and thought it was so cute. I still got to cut up some things from my jean pile . . . and it went really quickly.
The kids were so excited to present the apron to Roby and I think she liked it as well.

We are so grateful for Roby. The kids love her and she has made my life easier!
