Christmas at Home

Merry Christmas! We hope that you all had a wonderful holiday. This was our first Christmas that we have not spent with extended family – and it was a different experience. We enjoy spending the holiday with others around, but not having to go through the logistical challenge of moving so much “stuff” made this holiday enjoyable as well. Having said that, we hope that we are still able to spend Christmas with family in the future.

When we sat down for Christmas dinner we asked the kids how they enjoyed the day and they were all enthusiastic about the wonderful time they had. Emma said that she was thrilled with her gifts – and Caleb and Hannah can’t stop playing with their new toys. Still, we all remained mindful of the true reason we celebrate Christmas and will continue to remember the Savior and His birth.
