Between moves, different age requirements for swimming lessons, and traveling, Cami never quite had the opportunity for swimming lessons. This year she made sure we took what time we had and enrolled her.

The first week, she had a wonderful man who made swimming fun for all the kids. He knew how to fool around, but keep the kids safe and feeling good about their progress as well. By the end of the week, Cami was more than comfortable and ready to move into Level 2. The hardest part was waiting a couple weeks for her second week of lessons!
The second week was a little different as she had a different teacher with a different teaching style. Cami still had fun and looked forward to her class, but afterward we had no clue if she had passed or needed to stay in the same level for the next time. We stayed after class and asked the teacher. Cami was then taken to the deep end and asked to get in, which she readily did! They had her try different strokes by just telling her what to do and she did it (breast stroke and dolphin kick). Her teacher said that just through her desire, she should move up as she is very willing to learn.
Now, Cami is keeping her eye out for her big Level 3 swimming opportunity!
