Turning eight is a big year for many children, and it definitely was not overlooked by Cami. She could NOT wait until her birthday! We are even lucky enough to have Grandma and Grandpa Stephenson visiting, as well as Uncle Roger and Aunt Carol.

Surprise . . . It’s a Fan!
Cami took decorated sugar cookies into school to share with her class (as she told me she does NOT like cupcakes, after I got all the supplies for them). Then today when she went to ballet, Cami insisted she take more sweets to share with the girls there. She loved sharing with everyone, but was tickled pink when they sang her ‘Happy Birthday.’

Gifts
Cami’s birthday meal was shish kabobs (a consistent birthday dinner choice for all members of our family) and an ice cream cake from Baskins Robbins.

Ice Cream Cake
For such a big birthday, Cami’s celebration was a little small and very casual, but that was because the big celebration was just around the corner . . . . .
