Update from Caleb’s first meet 2 weeks ago: Caleb’s official scores were finally compared to those of the others from his level (if you remember, he got permission to compete Saturday instead of Sunday when his level was scheduled) – he was 1st All-Around. Way to go, Caleb! We’re still in shock! It would have been nice to see him stand up on the medal stand, but we are proud of him for making the decision not to compete on Sunday.
As luck would have it, Caleb’s level competed again this weekend on a Sunday. Thankfully they let him compete again on Saturday with the Level 6 boys. He’s really become great friends with those boys from his team in that level that he was more than happy to compete with them. He definitely was not as nervous as last time. He was rather the opposite and seemed to treat the meet more as a practice than a meet. He still did well but his scores went down from the previous meet.

Emma was excited because she got to be a ‘flasher’ for one of the judges. She put up the scores on her number board and did a great job. She and Hannah were also able to help hand out the ribbons to the boys during the awards ceremony. What great supportive sisters!
