Saturday marked the beginning of baseball season in our town. This is always done with a parade for all the teams where they end up at the ball fields for some speeches and then team pictures.
Of course, that is the ideal way it is done. This is the third year our family has participated in the town’s baseball league – the first year, it was rained out for Saturday so they did it the following day on Sunday. Last year, the weather was so horrid, they canceled it altogether. This year, they went through with it even though the weather had turned bitterly cold and windy with bouts of rain. So, Chris and Hannah were the only ones in our family to brave it – Chris, not so happily, and Hannah, with the biggest smile on her face.

Hannah is more than thrilled to be playing t-ball again this year with her same coach from last year. We were all surprised to find that Hannah had a major growth spurt this year and is by far the tallest on her team with some kids being older and some younger than she is. But, she is just happy to be on the field. She loves doing her own thing and never stops smiling while doing it.
