Fall has started to arrive in our neck of the woods. I wish this meant that the leaves are starting to change colors or that the weather has officially become sweatshirt weather, but that hasn’t happened yet. What it does mean is that acorns fall in plenty into our yard and driveway. During any time of day we can hear the acorns fall from the tree, roll down the roof, hit the oil tank on the way down, and plop on the driveway. The only tricky part — how do we get from the front door to the van parked in the driveway without getting pelted in the head? So far, so good. We may have to start carrying umbrellas to the car as the rate of an acorn’s descent is quite alarming!
Anyone know what to do with an abundance of acorns?
