A Day at the Beach

We didn’t need our arms twisted too tightly to get us to take a field trip to the beach.  When a group of friends decided to go, we found it the perfect opportunity to get out of the house for a field trip.

Honestly, it was so hard reigning the kids in as soon as we arrived – they were so excited.  It isn’t very often that we go to the beach – okay, the last time we went was 2 years ago and the weather was horrible.  This time, it was still quite cool and windy, but it was sunny.  The kids didn’t let anything hamper their fun.

They splashed each other endlessly.

They watched high tide roll in.

They buried each other in the sand.

Cami and I just hung out.  She didn’t want to leave my side and I was fine with that.

She never tired of just playing in the sand, which was a good thing because the water was really just . TOO . cold!!
