The weather today was gorgeous! It was in the upper 70’s and just wonderful after it’s been so cold. It almost felt like we were skipping spring and going right to summer. We took the day off from our normal school activities to take a field trip to the zoo with some friends. We all had a great time. The highlights for the kids were: Hannah – cows, Caleb – goats, Emma – donkeys. You can tell this isn’t the standard zoo with elephants, giraffes, and tigers. It’s a cute little zoo that only charges during the summer months. They have a train as well that opens soon so we may have to go back again in the near future to take advantage of that.

Afterwards we ate lunch and played at the park next to the zoo. The older three just ran and enjoyed being outdoors so I had the opportunity to just sit with Cami. Her favorite part was playing in the wood chips. Only a couple got into her mouth. We all had a great time – I guess the proof can be in the sunburns we came home with from staying so long!

Hannah is a girl after my own heart! I’m happy she enjoyed my favorite animal – cows!
On another note, Utah has been enjoying some fairly nice weather recently, but this morning I woke up to a couple inches of snow! I was very upset.
I warned her about the freak snowstorms that come after spring has sprung.
hahaha, you said “a girl after my own heart!” that’s just funny for some reason.
I love cows too! I’m glad Hannah liked them
