The Christmas Gift that Gives Twice

My sister’s family gave the younger kids a plate kit for Christmas.  They all designed their own plate on a piece of paper then sent them away to be made into a plate.  The wait to have them done was long (5-7 weeks) but they finally came a couple weeks ago . . .

It was like Christmas all over again!  The kids were excited to see their own handprint plates.

Emma received a kit to make her own book – right up her alley!  She continally starts a new book but then doesn’t like how it’s turning out.  I suggested she start thinking of it as a children’s book rather than a novel.  I’m thinking it would be a great project for her to work on with her dad – a great treasure for them both to have!
