Today Hannah officially turned 6 years old. She could NOT wait! Practically being the ‘middle child’, this little girl couldn’t wait to have a day to be in the spotlight. She enjoyed it fully!
One of the perks of being homeschooled . . . you get to have the day off of school for your birthday, no matter what day it is! So, Hannah spent a lot of time enjoying one of her new loves, Webkinz, on the computer, while the rest of us trudged through school. Hannah also helped me make her cupcakes – strawberry with strawberry frosting. Tonight we had her chosen dinner – pizza (sausage and extra cheese). Hannah has probably never been so happy to see her dad come home as she was tonight so she could finally open the presents she had been eyeing all day!
In honor of Hannah turning 6 years old, here are 6 wonderful things about her:
1. Hannah has always had BIG eyes! Normally they may not look like anything out of the ordinary but as soon as she widens them, they literally take you aback! Chris has nicknamed her ‘Big Eyes.’
2. Hannah is very versatile and can play very well with all her siblings on a one-to-one ratio. She and Caleb have always been the best of friends and playmates, but she has always been very gentle and caring with Cami as well. She jumps at any chance Emma may give her to play with her.
3. Hannah loves life. She is very ‘happy go lucky’ and loves to be involved in anything, no matter what it is.
4. Hannah is the only one of our children who was NOT born on the 29th of their birthday month. She is special because she shares her birthday with her Grandma Stephenson.
5. Hannah loves babies. There have been many times when we’ve been to church holiday parties that Hannah opts for sitting with families with babies, rather than with us. She is very attentive and loves to feel helpful to their needs.
6. Hannah loves to make crafts. She loves to sit and create. This was actually what she asked Santa for this year – craft projects!
We love Hannah so much and are grateful she is part of our family! She is a happy 6 year old and we are enjoying watching her learn and grow.
