Cami is becoming quite sneaky. Maybe that isn’t the word for it – she doesn’t try to sneak around, rather she is quite defiant. Is this the result of being the youngest of 4 that she feels she has to stick up for herself?
We stopped by Target yesterday to pick up a few things and Cami must have been hungry because she was ornery the entire time. As we got in line to check-out with Cami yelling the entire time, I heard the lady behind us tell someone she was with that ‘the little girl in pink could probably take her on; she had a lot of spunk!’ That’s one word for it.
Today as I’m rushing around to get the house cleaned and looking put back together (after our massive room changing last weekend), Cami asked if she could put on the bathing suit she found in the back of her dresser. I told her no, it was too cold, and asked her to go put it back in her dresser. A couple minutes later Cami yelled from the hallway, “Mommy, don’t see me!” Then I heard her bedroom door shut. When she emerged, guess what she was wearing . . . . her swimsuit!!

Does this kid have spunk or what?! I have noticed “Mommy, don’t see me” is starting to be her catch-phrase as I know I have to gear up my patience a little more before I look to see what she is up to. You have to love a 2 year old with a mind of her own!
