Friday morning we took the kids to the Sciencenter. The all time favorite ‘exhibit’ for any kid there is the water with the ducks. Caleb took charge and had whatever kids were there at the moment building dams, directing water flow, and racing ducks. He could have spent all day just in that area.

Cami couldn’t get enough of the water run-off either. (Just a side-note: no, we didn’t fix our daughter’s hair with 80’s bangs – she just kept pulling it out of her ponytail.)

There really isn’t anything better than an organized place for a kid to be a kid, exploring and playing.

We walked through Cornell’s campus for a little while but when there was a pro-gay demonstration going on in front of the book store we decided we should probably just leave.

I did snap some pictures on our way back to the car. I love the buildings at Cornell – they have so much history!

We grabbed a lunch and had a picnic at Robert H. Treman State Park. Then we hiked up to see the waterfall. It was a great hike and Hannah proved she had the most stamina as she became our leader the entire hike.

We were trying to think of something to fill our time so we wouldn’t have to go back to the pool and swim (for some reason it takes more out of us than it does the kids). So, we decided to go to the park and run around for a little while.

After a full day, Chris and I were exhausted, but the kids insisted they still had energy enough to swim again. So, we swam for a little while before ordering pizza to finish off our day.
