Today makes it official – Chris is 3 years away from turning the big 4-0! That’s kind of a big pill to swallow, but hopefully each approaching year will make it easier.
We tried to take what time we had during the weekend to celebrate. We had a couple hours Saturday night so we rented “What About Bob?” for a fun family night, while eating KFC (one of Chris’s favorites). Then Sunday we grabbed another couple hours to really celebrate, which, of course, means presents and cake! Chris requested chicken rolls and corn with carrot cake cupcakes for dessert so that’s what we had!
We are so grateful for all Chris does! He is such a great example of selfless service and love, while keeping the fun and laughter in our family.
