As Caleb and I returned from Bulgaria, we began packing Emma up for her first year of Girl’s Camp. She was beyond excited! Sadly, the rule was no technology so she refused to take a camera in case that broke the rule. So, we have no photo documentation for the event. However, we haven’t stopped hearing about it since she returned. She had a blast and made some great new friends!
While Emma was away for the long holiday weekend, we hosted some young women (Molly & Gemma) from Cornwall, who were coming to London to participate in a little musical. They were so gracious and even brought us some treats from Cornwall!

Yum!
During the days, the girls had rehearsals for their musical, but we enjoyed having them here for the evenings and dinner. They loved trying all our American meals and said it was such a treat.
Monday was a Bank Holiday and the last day of the girls’ performances so we made our way to Kew Gardens to see them.

Buzz-ical Cast
The musical was so cute and well done. We were glad we got to see it.

Gemma & Molly
The musical was part of a bigger event going on at Kew for the weekend so we got to walk around and enjoy the other activities as well.

When Tuesday morning rolled around, the younger kids were so reluctant to have Gemma & Molly leave. I think the older girls were a little reluctant as well. They hung out with us until the afternoon before they headed off for the train. I think we’ll have to make a trip down to Cornwall soon for a visit!
