It seemed the entire country, if not world, celebrated with us for Cami’s birthday this year. Prince William and Kate chose Cami’s special day to be wed, and it was a great celebration!

The Night Before
Cami woke up to a real surprise treat that the older kids helped put together. She wasn’t the only one excited about her 5th birthday!

The best thing about getting to open your presents first thing in the morning? You get to enjoy them all day long!

Cami did lots of reading and playing during the day, while we . . . .

. . . watched the Royal Wedding!
Many of our friends watched it downtown in Hyde Park on the big screens, but we were content to watch it at home and listen to the commentary. However, that didn’t stop us from dressing up for the occasion!

After the Royal Wedding . . and kiss on the balcony . . . we headed out for a family birthday celebration of miniature golf.

We had a great time and learned some of us have gotten a lot better since last time we’ve been; others, not so much!
We finished off the day with Cami’s cupcakes, which she insisted needed to be ‘fairy wands.’

I think Cami had a very full and happy birthday! It will definitely be one that we’ll remember for a long time!

Happy 5th Birthday, Cami!
Happy Birthday Cami! I love that doll house.
Happy Birthday to Cami!
I love your outfits for the special Royal Wedding day! I was at Women’s Conference, and there was a small contingency of Royal Wedding supporters on Friday. They had dressed up and wore hats and carried around the British flag. I wish I’d got a picture of them!
Happy Birthday to Cami, who is a true princess!!!!!
