This year we went the simple route and just planned costumes around what we had in our dress-up box. We ended up with a cowboy, a cowgirl, a 50’s Poodle skirt girl, and a fairy princess. The kids were thrilled to dress up and I was glad it was so low-key.
We went trick-or-treating with some friends and enjoyed watching the kids enjoy the excitement.
Cami was completely independent from our help this year and ran as quickly as she could to keep up with the older kids. She had a few tumbles over her long skirt, but was up again without complaint to chase down the kids again.
It was a great night filled with friends and more fun memories.
