3rd Grade Wrap-up with Cami

This year I was in 3rd grade. It was really fun. My teachers were Mrs. Harrison and Ms. Babb, who had been my 2nd grade teachers as well.  They both got to move up to 3rd grade with us.  Last year Ms. Babb was my main teacher, but this year I mostly had Mrs. Harrison.  I had Ms. Babb for spelling and sometimes some other subjects as well.

My Favourite Artwork

My favorite subject in school this year was art.  Mrs. Kiraz was a great art teacher and I had a lot of fun.

My after-school activity was cooking, which I also did last year.  I really liked being able to make different kinds of food to take home to share with my family.  I also liked being able to hang out with my friends after school.

I tried out for Hillingdon’s Got Talent, our school’s talent show, again.  I made the cut and was really nervous about performing since I had never performed my new solo for anyone before.  I had fun performing even though I had a moment in my dance where I forgot what came next.  I kept going though and had fun.

End of My Dance

This really was my first full year of being in school since I started halfway into 2nd grade.  I was able to make a lot of new friends and enjoyed being around them during the school day.

At the end of the school year, we had a party for our entire grade.  We had fun games, food, and activities.  I loved being able to use the photo booth with my friend, Alina.

One of the saddest things about this year was that I found out my best friend, Sofia, would be moving to Mexico.  She actually had to leave before school was over so it was sad to have to say goodbye to her and have her miss out on all the fun end of year events.  We tried to make good use of our time with playdates and making crafts for each other.

Since Sofia left, we’ve been able to FaceTime.  It was so fun to see her and know that we can still be friends even when she’s so far away!

I’m excited to go into 4th grade and to see all my friends after the summer break.
